Critically distinguished choreographer Jack Philp works nationally and internationally as a choreographer, director and freelance dance artist. Jack has created commissioned work for several companies, organisations and vocational schools as well as toured productions across the UK as the Artistic Director of his independent collective Jack Philp Dance. With a fascination for dance, science and digital technology; Jack is interested in work that is physically dynamic, collaborative and that speaks of the world today. Jack is an experienced facilitator; working across a range of contexts. He joined National Dance Company Wales to lead the company as their interim rehearsal director before becoming their new Engagement Artist in the summer of 2022. More recently Jack also joined the Clore Leadership programme as one of their emerging leaders.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Jack has extensive experience teaching across a range of ages and abilities and has worked as a mentor for individuals 1-to-1. Jack has worked as a guest lecturer, taught professional class and delivered workshop activity for GCSE, A-Level and Degree level dance, as well as leading youth companies and class for the community.
